An important step in the development of a project is to discuss ideas for the project with the stakeholders involved in the sector. These stakeholders include government agencies, local businesses and other organisations involved with the sector.
During this process, Eco works with the implementing agency or project developer to identify what the potential sources of co-financing are, what the stakeholders understand is necessary for the successful implementation of the project, and what the stakeholders understand is their role in the process.
The tools we use for stakeholder analysis include:
- Meetings and interviews with stakeholders
- Facilitation of stakeholder conferences, working groups and meetings
- Institutional and human capacity assessment
- Survey design, delivery and analysis.
