Question: When and why did you set up E Co.?

I set up E Co. in March 2000, partly out of frustration that things weren’t changing quickly enough and partly out of the sincere belief that things could be done in a different and better way: we have always focused on creating lasting, sustainable change. Since then we have worked in over 80 countries and on hundreds of assignments throughout the world, with close to 100% of projects receiving funding.

We help to develop low-carbon, climate resilient projects that are more effective, easier to implement, and have longer lasting impacts. The way we do that is through a deep understanding of how markets function, really getting down to the roots of how things work and understanding what changes can be made in a way that markets function to bring about a sustained and lasting change. I am hugely proud of our incredible team and the contribution that we have made together to improving the quality of life for people throughout the world. I’m looking forward to continuing to make a difference for clients and communities in the future too.
