Cristina Dediu

In a nutshell, tell us about yourself.

My genetics and my passport say that I am Romanian but if you speak with me for more than 15 minutes, you will quickly realise that I am Spanish since I came to Madrid when I was 8 years old. Even if I love this country, one of the things that I desire the most is to know new cultures and meet new people. Therefore, when I had the opportunity during college, I went to live in Italy for half a year. It was there that I decided to study for a Master’s in International Cooperation. However, an important highlight is that my life during my first years (in Romania) was surrounded by nature and a lot of different animals. That environment has marked a very important aspect of my personality: my necessity to protect this beautiful planet. E Co. gives me the possibility to put together these two facets of mine in a professional way.

What are you most proud of?

I always try to get out of my comfort zone, even if sometimes it can be very challenging.

What are your loves?

After putting aside all the people I love, I would say several things such as cats, morning/afternoon walks, rainy days under a blanket, card games, and watching a
starry sky.

Name three things on your bucket list.

Have a cat (or two), go to Australia, and learn French.

How do you see the world in 25 years?

I like to think that in 25 years we will have immensely increased the Zero Kilometre food products.

When are you happiest?

When I am with my loved ones in a natural environment playing card games.
