In a nutshell, tell us about yourself.
I grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia. I come from a writing background, with experience in authoring and editing fiction, nonfiction and poetry. I’ve also been involved in translating works from Indonesian to English.
At E Co. I create a lot of our digital content, from podcasts, to E Co. bites, articles and GCF insight reports. I love the broad spectrum of creative and marketing skills that this job allows me to utilise.
What are you most proud of?
I created and write for an original superhero comic, ROSANA!, and I get to work with an amazing, global team of Indonesian artists. Nothing beats seeing your own superhero come to life.
Who or what do you most admire?
I admire people who shake the table a little bit in the circles they’re in: their professional industry, their local community—people who fight for the rights of a disenfranchised collective, I would want to stand behind them.
What’s the best holiday you’ve ever had?
I spent one summer in Greece as a volunteer to work with sea turtles. We spent late nights walking on stretches of sand to see the turtles come out from sea and lay their eggs. We did all the technical data collection, but it was about the magic, in the end.
If you were world leader, what’s the first thing you would change?
Restoring land rights for indigenous peoples.
