Low carbon, climate resilient project design

We’d like to invite you to take our 21st GCF insight survey, ‘Enhancing private sector investment in tackling climate change through the Green Climate Fund. The private sector represents over USD 210 trillion in financial resources and yet, only a small portion of that focuses on climate investments. The objective of our latest survey is to build upon the outcomes of the 19th GCF insight, which uncovered the struggles the private sector faces in accessing climate finance from the GCF. We now hope to identify possible ways to address hurdles, such as access to the Fund and risks associated with private sector investment in climate change solutions.

Your responses will form the basis of our 21st GCF insight report, which will be shared with our GCF stakeholder community and the GCF Secretariat. As many of you who have taken this survey over the years will know, this is a good opportunity to make your voice heard and contribute to the wider understanding of the GCF. We would be grateful if you could forward this survey on to any relevant colleagues with whom you may be working.

You have until 23h00 GMT on Monday 12 September 2022 to take this survey.

We are deeply grateful for your interest in contributing to this E Co. study, which we conduct independent of the GCF.

*TAKE THE SURVEY NOW*

Once you have completed the survey, kindly forward this email to others that may find it relevant – for example to other NDAs, AEs, CSOs and project developers with whom you are working.
